Notification under section 57(2) of application of Chapter X to certain places of employment

LABOUR (SPECIAL PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT) NOTIFICATION

Commencement: 1st January 1956

Citation.

1. This notification may be cited as the Labour (Special Places of Employment) Notification.

Application.

2. The provisions of sections 58 to 63 and 67 to 69 (all sectionsinclusive) of the Labour Act shall apply to all places of employment where anindustrial undertaking is carried on in which the average number of workersemployed per day is not less than 25; and, in addition, the provisions ofsection 59 of that Act shall apply to all places of employment in which anymanual worker (other than a domestic servant) is employed.
