Order under section 5

PRICE CONTROL (DISPLAY OF PRICES) ORDER

Commencement: 4th May 1978

Citation.

1. This Order may be cited as the Price Control (Display of Prices)Order.

Display of price on goods.

2. (1) Any person who sells by retail any goods or class of goodsspecified in the Schedule to this Order shall exhibit clearly and conspicuouslythe price demanded by him for the sale of such goods by means of price tags.

(2) Where any goods or class of goods are sold by reference to anymeasurement or unit, such price tags shall clearly indicate the measure or unitin Romanised Malay.

(3) The Price Controller may, by written notice to any person who sells byretail any goods or class of goods specified in the Schedule to this Orderrequire such person to exibit clearly and conspicuously such particulars as thePrice Controller may require in such notice.

SCHEDULE

GOODS OR CLASS OF GOODS REFERRED TO IN PARAGRAPH 2(1)

1. Foodstuffs and beverages of all kinds.

2. All fabrics and wearing apparel including footwear.

3. All medicaments and pharmaceutical products.

4. Electrical appliances of all kinds and spare parts therefor.

5. Sundry goods of all kinds with the exception of photographicequipment of all kinds and spare parts therefor.

6. Motor vehicles.
