EXCHANGE OF LETTERS REGARDING PROMOTION OF TRADE BETWEEN INDIA AND SWEDEN

Dear Mr IENGAR,

I refer to our recent discussions regarding trade between Sweden and India and am glad to note that the Governments of the two countries have agreed to assist each other in furthering mutual trade to the maximum extent possible, especially in respect of the commodities included in the attached Schedules "A" and "B" which will form an integral part of the arrangement which is valid up to 31st December 1954. These lists, not being exhaustive, will not in any way prejudice the export or import of articles not mentioned therein.
