19, 1959 between M. Max Flechet, Secretaire d'Etat aux Affaires Economiques and Shri K.B. Lall, Additional Secretary in the Ministry
of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi, should be renewed for a period of one year from the present date and that on the expiry of this
period the matter should be further reviewed. I have the honour to convey to you the agreement of the French authorities, the understanding reached between us. Mr. SECRETARY, During the meetings of the Franco-Indian Economic Commission held from 10th to 14th March, 1964, it has been agreed to renew, for
a period of one year beginning from today, the provisions contained in the Franco-Indian Exchange of Letters of 19th October, 1959
relating to the means appropriate for developing exchanges between India and France. In addition, it has been judged desirable to enlarge the field of Franco-Indian Collaboration provided in that text and, consequently,
to discuss hence forward within the Franco-Indian Economic Commission the various questions arising from the development of economic
relations between the two countries as well as problems of common interest relating to international trade. I have the honour to convey to you the agreement of the French authorities to the above mentioned provisions. I shall be grateful

a period one year, beginning from today, the provisions contained in the Indo-French Exchange of Letters of the 19th October, 1959,
relating to the appropriate means to develop trade between India and France, and whose scope was extended by the Exchange of Letters
of the 15th March, 1964. I have the honour to convey to you the agreement of the French authorities with regard to this renewal. I shall be grateful if you
