As a result of the negotiations which took place in Warszawa between the Trade Delegations of India and Polish People's Republic an
understanding was reached on the following
The Trade and Payments Agreement between the Government of India and the Government of the Polish People's Republic dated 2nd November,
1959 signed by Shri K.R.F. Khilnani, Leader of the Indian Trade Delegation and Mr. J. Burakiewicz, Leader of the Polish Trade Delegation
be extended for a period of one year ending December 31, 1963.
I shall be grateful if you will kindly confirm that this letter correctly sets out the understanding reached between us.

Dear Mr. DZIUBINSKI,
I have the honour to refer to our recent discussions on furthering trade between our two countries, and to say that in accordance
with Article II of the Trade and Payments Agreement between India and Poland signed on 2nd November, 1959 and extended up to December
31, 1963, as per letters exchanged today, it has been agreed that Schedules W and V attached to the above mentioned Agreement shall
remain valid for the calendar year 1963.
I shall be grateful if you will kindly confirm that the above sets out correctly the understanding reached between us.
