Sir,
I have the honour to refer to the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
Ireland and the Government of india signed at Delhi on 1 December, 1951, as amended by notes dated 8 June 1959, exchanged between
the two Governments, and to the exchange of views which have taken place between the United Kingdom Government and this High Commission
regarding the introduction of an air service from India to Mauritius and vice versa.
In pursuance of the exchange of views referred to above, the Government of India propose that Schedule II to the aforesaid Agreement
as amended, shall be amended by adding “VIII” in column I, “Bombay” in column 2 and “Plaisance” in column 3.
If the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland accept this proposal, I further propose that this Letter
and your reply to that effect, shall be regarded as constituting an Agreement between our two Governments which shall enter into
force to-day.

I have the honour to inform you that the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland accept the proposal
contained in your letter and agree that your Letter and this reply shall be regarded as constituting an Agreement between the two
Governments which shall enter into force to-day.
