20.
| (1) The members for the time being of the Council shall be a body corporate with the name of " The Ayurvedic Medical Council" and shall have perpetual succession and may sue and be sued in such name and adopt, alter and use a corporate seal which shall be judicially noticed. |

| (2) The Council may acquire and hold any movable or immovable property and dispose of any of its properties and enter into contracts and do all such other acts as may be necessary for the exercise of its powers and the discharge of its functions and duties. |
