Borrowing powers of the Authority
27. The Authority may, with the consent of the Minister in writing or in accordance with the terms of any general authority given by him, borrow by way of overdraft or otherwise, or negotiate or obtain on credit terms such sums as the Authority may require for meeting the obligations of the Authority, or for exercising, discharging and performing its powers, functions and duties under this Act: Provided, however, that the aggregate of the amounts outstanding in respect of any loans raised by the Authority under this section shall not at any time exceed such amount as may be determined by the Minister. |
