33.
| (1) At the request of the Authority any public officer, other than an officer to whom section 31 applies, may with the consent of the person who for the time being has the power to appoint such officer be temporarily appointed to the staff of the Authority for such period as may be determined by such Authority with like consent, or be permanently appointed to such staff. |

| (2) Where a public officer is appointed temporarily to the staff of the Authority the provisions of subsections (3) and (5) of section 26 of the State Industrial Corporations Act, No. 49 of 1957, other than paragraph (c) of subsection (3) of section 26, shall, mutatis mutandis, apply to such officer. |

| (3) Where an officer is permanently appointed to the staff of the Authority the provisions of subsections (4) and (5) of section 26 of that Act shall apply to, and in relation to, such officer. |
