All Ceylon Muslim Women's Association (Incorporation) Act (No. 38 of 1982) - Sect 3

General power of the Corporation

3. The general object for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be
(a) to promote the cultural and general welfare of the community ;
(b) to encourage the education of Muslim girls in order in advance the progress of the community;
(c) to encourage the practical application of the ideals of Islam; and
(d) to co-operate with other women's organizations which are interested in the progress of women.
