Animal Diseases Act (No. 59 of 1992) - Sect 39

Repeal and savings

39.
(1) The Contagious Diseases (Animals) Ordinance (Chapter 470), is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Contagious Disease (Animals) Ordinance, the regulations made under that Ordinance and in force immediately before the coming into operation of this Act shall, except where and so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be deemed to be regulations made under this Act and continue in force until altered, amended, or rescinded by regulation* made under this Act.
