Powers of any member of the Security Service, to search
20. It shall be lawful for any member of the Security-service maintained under section 17 to search any person including his belongings or any conveyance used by such person within the premises of the airport when he has reason to believe that such person has committed a cognizable offence within the meaning of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979, or any offence under this Part of this Act or the Offences Against Aircraft Act, No. 24 of 1982 or is about to commit such offence : Provided, however, that where it is necessary to cause a woman to be searched, such search shall be made by another woman with strict regard to decency. |
