Procedure When personal service Cannot be effected
129. If the service prescribed in the preceding sections cannot by the exercise of due diligence be effected, the process officer, police officer, grama sevaka or such other authorized officer, as the case may be. shall affix the summons to some conspicuous part of the house in which the person summoned ordinarily resides, or in the case of a corporation or unincorporated body, of the usual place of business or office of such, corporation or body, and in every such case the summons shall be deemed to have been duly served. |
