(1) Where any court is of opinion that the production or inspection of any book, letter, telegram or other document in the custody of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications is necessary or desirable for the purposes of any proceedings or investigation under this Law, the court may require any officer of that department to deliver such document to such person as the court may direct. |

(2) If any book or document in the custody of the Department of Posts and Telecommunications is in the opinion of the Director of Public Prosecutions necessary or desirable for the purposes of any proceedings or investigation under this Law, he may require any officer of the said department to deliver such document to him or to any other officer or person. |
