The Attorney-General may at any time before the verdict is recorded withdraw any indictment or any charge therein and the prosecutor may also with the permission of the court at any time before the verdict Is recorded withdraw any indictment or charge therein, and thereupon all proceedings thereon shall be stayed and the accused shall be discharged of and from the same. |
