| 292. If there is no executor resident in Sri Lanka competent and willing to act, the Public Trustee shall issue letters of administration with or without the will annexed, as the case may require, to some person who is competent to apply for the same, or to some other person who, in the opinion of the Public Trustee, by reason of consanguinity, amount of interest, safety of the estate and probability that it will be property administered, is a proper person to be appointed administrator. |
