Prescription
307. Front the death of the testator or intestate until the 'final settlement of an account by his executor or administrator, the running aw relating to the prescription of actions against a debt due from the deceased to the accounting party, or any other cause of action in favour of the latter against the deceased, is suspended, unless the accounting party was appointed upon the revocation of a former grant to another person; in which case the running of such law is so suspended from the grant to him until the first final settlement of his account. After the first final settlement of the account, the law begins again to run against a debt due to him from the deceased, or any other cause of action in his favour against the deceased. |
