| 319. Where there are more plaintiffs or more defendants than one in an action, proceeding or matter, and the judgment proceeds on any ground common to all the plaintiffs or to all the defendants, any one of the plaintiffs or the defendants may lodge an appeal against the judgment, and thereupon the Supreme Court may reverse or modify the judgment in favour of all the plaintiffs or defendants, as the case may be. |
