(1) The Attorney-General shall appear for the State in every appeal to the Supreme Court under this Law to which the State or a State officer is a party, and provision shall be made by rules of court for the transmission to the Attorney-General of all such documents, exhibits, and other things connected with the proceedings as he may require for the purpose of his duties under this section. |

(2) The Solicitor-General, Director of Public Prosecutions or a State Counsel, or an attorney-at-law specially or generally authorized by the Attorney-General in that behalf shall be entitled to appear for the Attorney-General in any such appeal. |
