| 76. Where it appears to the police officer in charge of an investigation that there is not sufficient evidence or reasonable ground of suspicion to justify the sending of the suspect to a Magistrate's Court, the officer shall if such suspect is in custody release, him on his executing a bond as such officer may direct to appear if and when so required at any time within fourteen days from the date of the execution of the bond, before a court having jurisdiction to try the offence. |
