| 61. Where the Minister certifies by Notification published in the Gazette that it is necessary that any agricultural land specified in the Notification should be acquired for any of the purposes of this Act, that land shall, for the purpose of the application of the Land Acquisition Act, be deemed to be required for a public purpose and may be acquired under that Act: Provided that notwithstanding anything to the contrary in that Act the amount of compensation to be paid for the acquisition of that land under that Act shall be equal to the product of the multiplication of the annual rental value of that land computed in the prescribed manner. |
