(1) Where any person is released on bail he shall give to the court or officer taking such bail, an address at which service of all notice and processes may be served upon him and if thereafter, he cannot be found or for any other reason service on him cannot be effected, any notice or process left for him at such address shall be deemed to have been duly served upon him |

(2) Where for the purposes of subsection(1) a person gives an address which to his knowledge is false, he shall he guilty of an offence under this Act and shall on conviction 'after summary trial, be punished with simple imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or with a fine not exceeding one thousand rupees or to both such imprisonment and fine. |
