40. Schedule II to the principal enactment is hereby amended as follows:
| (1) by the substitution for Item (c) of that Schedule of the following item:
| | "(c) the carrying on of an agency function for and on behalf of the Government or local authorities or for or on behalf of any person in respect of any business related to the provision of financial services, or to act the managing agent for any financial institution ;". | | |
|
|
| (2) by the substitution for item (k) of that Schedule of the following Item:
| | "(k) undertaking and executing trust including functioning as a trustee of any Unit Trust;"; | | |
|
|
| (3) by the substitution in item (m) of that Schedule for the words" any other company having object; similar to those of the company of the words" any other company ;"; |
|
| (4) by the substitution for item (s) of that Schedule the following item :-
| | "(a) the provision of management consultancy service and other technical support services;"; | | |
|
|
| (5) by the substitution in item (u) of that Schedule for the word" factories, ", of the word" factoring, " ; and |
|
| (6) by the addition at the end of that Schedule of the following new items:
| | "(w) the business of pawn broking;
| | | (c) entering into arrangements for a joint venture with any person or company for conducting a financial services enterprise. or conducting any enterprises providing support services for the conduct of its business; . |
| (ca) any other business which the Monetary Board may authorize a licensed commercial bank to engage in.". |
