2, The following new section is hereby inserted immediately after section 13 of the Butchers Ordinance and shall have effect as section 13A of that Ordinance : -

| | (1) No person shall sell or expose for sale or cause to be sold or exposed for sale the flesh of any animal at any place other than in a building constructed in conformity with a plan approved by the Secretary to the Ministry in charge of Local Government. | | |
| | (2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence, and shall on conviction by a Magistrate be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred rupees, and in default of payment to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding six months.". | | |
