| (1) The affairs of the Corporation shall subject to the other provisions of this Act and the rules in force for the time being of the Corporation, be administered by a Committee of Management (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") consisting of not less than five members including the Director-General, the Secretary, two Assistant Secretaries and the Treasurer. |

| (2) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in sub section (1) of this section Mr. Munidasa Perera Madduma shall unless he resigns earlier be the Director-General of the Corporation, and shall be the Director-General for life, and he shall nominate a successor who shall unless he resigns earlier also hold office for life. |

| (3) The first Committee of Management of the Corporation shall consist of the members of the Committee of Management of the Institute holding office on the day preceding the date of commencement of this Act, and whose names are specified in the Schedule to this Act. |
