(1) Where any immovable property is required to be acquired for any specific purpose of the Authority, and the Minister by Order published in the Gazette approves of the proposed acquisition for that purpose, that property shall for the purpose of the application of the Land Acquisition Act, be deemed to be required for a public purpose and may accordingly be acquired under that Act and be transferred to the Authority. |

(2) Any sum payable for the acquisition of any immovable property under the Land Acquisition Act for the Authority, shall paid by the Authority. |
