| 42. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires-"Act" means this Act and includes any regulations or rules made thereunder. " Aerodrome" means any land or water area intende to be used, whrther wholly or partly for the landing and departure of aircrafts and all buildings, sheds, vessels, piers and other structures standing thereon or appertaining thereto; "Air Navigation Act" means the Air Navigation Act. (Chapter 365);"Convention" means the Convention on international Civil Aviation signed in Chicago on December 7. 1944 ;"SDR" means special Drawing Right as defined by the International Monetary Fund ; and "Standards" means Standards adopted by the Council of the international Civil Aviation Organization under Article 37 of the Convention and to which Sri Lanka has not filed a difference under Article 38 of the Convention and the Recommended Practices adopted by the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization under Article 37 of the Convention which is duly implemented and enforced in Sri Lanka. |
