Colombo Bible College (Incorporation) Act (No. 32 of 1971) - Sect 14

Cessation of Memmbership

5. All debts and liabilities of the College existing at the time of the coming into operation of this Act shall be paid and discharged by the Corporation and all debts, subscriptions and contributions due to or payable to the College shall be paid to the Corporation.

5. A member of the College shall cease to be such member- (a) if he resigns his membership by writing under his hand addressed to the President of the College; or (b) if by reason of illness or other infirmity or absence from Ceylon he is unable to perform the duties of his office as a member of the College; or (c) if he fails or refuses to subscribe to the doctrinal statement set out in Rule 3; (d) if the Council of Management by a majority of the members of the Council present and voting decides that in the interests of the College the name of such member should be removed from the register of members.
