| (1)The Competent Authority shall during the specified period take possession and control of all property specified in the Second Schedule to this Act, used for the purposes for the business undertaking specified in the First Schedule to this Act. |

| (2) Any person who fails or refuses to deliver possession to the Competent Authority of any property specified in the Second Schedule to the Act, or prevents or obstructs or causes any person to prevent or obstruct the Competent Authority in taking possession of the property referred to in subsection (1) or resists or obstructs the Competent Authority in the discharge of his functions under this Act. shall be guilty of an offence under this Act, and ;shall on conviction after summary trial before a Magistrate be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to a fine not exceeding ton thousand rupees, or to both such imprisonment and line. |
