| 40. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires- " Commission " means the Co-operative Employees Commission; " Commissioner " means the Commissioner of Co-operative Development and Registrar of Co-operative Societies; " co-operative society " means a society registered under the law relating to co-operative societies; " district " means an administrative district established under the Administrative Districts Act ; " employee " means an employee of a co-operative society within the meaning of this Act; " Minister " means the Minister to whom the subject or function of co-operative development has been assigned by the Prime Minister; " prescribed " means prescribed by regulation made by the Commission. |
