| (1) There shall be established a corporation under the name and style of the "Incorporated Trustees of the Church of Ceylon" consisting of such number of members as may be appointed by the Diocesan Councils of the Church of Ceylon in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Church of Ceylon relating to the same, which shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and sue or be sued in its corporate name. |

| (2) The Corporation established under subsection (1) shall have power and authority to acquire, purchase, accept, take, hold, take on lease, or enjoy, movable or immovable property and to sell, mortgage, alienate, let, lease, exchange or otherwise dispose of or deal with the same in any manner whatsoever and be competent to act as trustees for any fund of the Church of Ceylon and to borrow or raise money on its behalf. |
