Code Of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act (No. 13 of 1988) - Sect 2

Amendment of section 333 of Act No. 15 of 1979

2.Subsection (4) of section 333 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979, is hereby repealed and the following subsection substituted therefor:
" (4) Where the accused is sentenced to death, execution shall be stayed and he shall, pending the determination of the appeal, be treated in such manner as may be prescribed by rules made under the Prisons Ordinance.".
