Code Of Criminal Procedure Act (No. 15 of 1979) - Sect 1

Short title and date of operation

1. This Act may be cited as the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979, (hereinafter referred to as " the Code ") and shall come into operation on such date (hereinafter referred to as the " appointed date ") as the Minister by Order published in the Gazette may appoint.
