Expenses
354. The expenses of any attorney-at-law assigned to an appellant under this Chapter, and the expenses of any witnesses attending on the order of the court or examined in any proceedings incidental to the appeal and all expenses of, and incidental to, any examination of witnesses conducted by any person appointed by the court for the purpose, shall be defrayed, up to an amount allowed by the court, but subject to such rates and scales of payment as may be prescribed by rules made under section 453. Until such rules are made the rules relating to rates and scales of payment in force immediately before the appointed date shall continue in force. |
