Section 6 of the Code of Intellectual Property Act, No. 52 of 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal enactment) is hereby amended by the insertion immediately after the definition of "broadcasting" of the following new definitions :-" "Computer" means an electronic or other device having the capability of storing and processing information ; "Computer programme" means a set of instructions expressed in words, codes, schemes or in any other form, which is capable, when incorporated in a medium that a computer can read, of causing the computer to perform or achieve a particular task or result.'. |
