Code Of Intellectual Property Act (No. 52 of 1979) - Sect 20

Sound recording

20.
(1) The lawful maker of any sound recording shall, for a period of fifty years from the first publication of the sound recording, have the exclusive right to reproduce or authorize the reproduction of the sound recording.
(2) The provisions of sections 14, 18, 19 (6), and 21 shall apply to sound recordings.
