| (1) In the absence of any provision to the contrary in the licence contract, the licensor may grant further licences to third parties in respect of the same patent or himself do any or all of the acts referred to in section 81 (1) (a) and (3). |

| (2) Where the licence contract provides that the licence is exclusive, and unless it is expressly provided otherwise in such contract, the licensor shall not grant further licences to third parties in respect of the same patent or him- self do any of the acts referred to in section 81 (1) (a) and (3). |
