Section 24 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section by the substitution for the words "be sentenced to imprisonment of either description for a period of two years. ", of the words " be liable to imprisonment of either description for a period not exceeding two years or to a fine not exceeding ten thousand rupees or to both such fine and imprisonment.". |
