Trader to issue receipts to purchasers

16. Every trader who sells any article shall on demand, issue to the purchaser thereof a receipt setting out-

(a) the date of the sale;

(b) the quantity of such article sold ;

(c) the price paid for such quantity ; and (d) the nature of the transaction, that is to say, whether the sale was by wholesale or retail.
