Cultural Property Act (No. 73 of 1988) - Sect 26

Authorization of Government Agents and other officers to exercise powers of Archaeological Commissioner

28. The Archaeological Commissioner may generally or specially authorise the exercise, performance or discharge of any of his powers, duties or functions under this Act-
(a) by the Government Agent of any district, within that district ; or
(b) by any officer of the Department of Archaeology in any part of Sri Lanka.
