Wherever reference is made in any written law other than the Civil Procedure Code, whether expressly or by implication, to the administration through a court of competent testamentary jurisdiction of an estate of or above the value of two thousand five hundred rupees, such written law shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be read and construed as though the expression " twenty thousand rupees had been substituted for the expression " twelve thousand five hundred rupees " wherever the latter expression occurs, or, in cases where such reference is by way of implication only, as though such. references related to an estate of or above the value of twenty thousand rupees. |
