| 2. Section 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code, hereinafter referred to as the " principal enactment", is hereby amended by the insertion, immediately after the definition of "Government Analyst", of the following definition :- ' " headman" includes a Grama Sevaka, and accordingly any reference in this Code to the village of a headman shall, if such headman is a Grama Sevaka, be deemed to be a reference to such Grama Sevaka's Division ;'. |
