(1) The Corporation may, by writing under its seal, empower any person either generally or in respect of any specific matter, as its attorney, to execute deeds on its behalf in any place not situate in the Island. |

(2) A deed signed by such an attorney on behalf of the Corporation and under his signature or seal shall bind the Corporation and have the same effect as if it were under the seal of the Corporation. |
