The council shall carry out the primary objects of the association, namely, the development of good citizenship among boys of all classes by forming their character, training them in habits of observation, obedience and self-reliance, inculcating in them discipline, loyalty and thoughtfulness for others, teaching them services useful to the public and handicrafts useful to themselves and promoting their physical, mental and spiritual development, so that irrespective of race, community, caste or creed they may become good citizens of Ceylon. |
