Commission To Investigate Allegations Of Bribery Or Corruption Act (No. 19 of 1994) - Sect 18

Members of deemed to be public Servant &c

18.
(1) The members of the Commission, The Director-General and officers and servants, appointed to assist the Commission shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of the Penal Code and every investigation conducted under this Act shall be deemed to be a judicial proceeding within the mining of that Code.
(2) The Director-General and every officer appointed to assist the Commission shall be deemed to be peace officers within the meaning of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979.
