Co-operative Wholesale establishment (Amendment) Law (No. 31 of 1978) - Sect 2

Amendment of section 5 of Chapter 126

2. Section 5 of the Co-operative Wholesale Establishment Act, as amended by Act No. 39 of 1957, is hereby further amended by the repeal of subsection (1) thereof, and. the substitution therefor, of the following subsection: -
" (1) The board shall consist of not more than nine and not less than five members appointed by the Minister of whom-
(a) one shall be appointed, in consultation with the Minister in charge of the subject of Finance; and
(b) one shall be appointed in consultation with the Minister in charge of the subject of Co-operatives.".
