Development Councils Act (No. 35 of 1980) - Sect 87

Records and documents to be in charge of District Secretary

87.
(1) The records and documents of every Development Council shall be in the custody of the District Secretary, and they shall be kept in safe custody in accordance with by-laws in that behalf under this Act.
(2) The District Secretary shall have in his charge and custody, and shall be responsible for, all deeds, records, other books and documents belonging to the Council.
