| 26. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Prescription Ordinance where an institution has instituted action for the recovery of any debt due to it and such action is pending on. the date of commencement of this Act, such institution shall be entitled to institute action under this Act for the recovery of that debt; Provided that this section shall not apply to any pending action where the cause of action on the debt was prescribed as at the date of the institution of such first mentioned action. |
