Duty of employers to grant leave with out loss of pay to enable employees to vote
18. Any person, being the employer of any other person who is entitled to vote at any election of the member of a Council or who is a candidate at any such election, or who being a member of an Electoral Board is called upon to per- form any duty as a member of an Electoral Board, shall, upon application in writing in that behalf made by such other person, grant such other person leave, without loss of pay for such period of time as may be required for any one of the aforesaid purposes. |
