Energy Supply (Temporary Provisions) Act (No. 2 of 2002) - Sect 28

Special procedure to be followed by the committee

28.
(1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Ceylon Electricity Board Act or in any contract or agreement entered into under the provisions of the aforesaid Act, the Committee shall have power to adopt special procedure in the imposition of tariffs or other charges in the interests of national economy and in view of the necessity to take expeditious measures for the effective exercise of the powers and lights of the Committee
(2) Special procedure may be adopted for the imposition of tariffs or other charges as shall be prescribed
